The Archbishops associates said it damages the reputation of the Catholic Church?
Ha Ha Ha Ha

No...The Nuns are the churches saving grace nowadays.
How much is in the archdiocese fractional reserve bank accounts?
It's only fiat specie paper. The nuns were doing society a favor by keeping it out of the banks hands.
I'm ashamed of the archdiocese simple-mindedness (and typical obsession with the religions 'IMAGE". I applaud the nuns for their good stewardship.

Yea i'm sure the nuns held a gun to those who donated money to them. The word here is DONATED. They were naive to store the money where they did but the money was not stolen by them.

Telling people they need to give the church money or go to hell is the same as stealing. In fact, I'd rather they rob a bank than keep manipulating simple minded people into giving them their hard earned money. Religion is a scam and it's amazing to me that nobody really calls this out. SCAM! And you're obviously one of the suckers.

The Nuns kept it because they knew that the Archbishops need it to pay off the molestation charges that are brought up every year...

You wouldn't get anywhere near that much from a bank.
