Brilliant book!

Heard Mitchell interviewed here (Ireland - he lives in Cork with his Japanese wife and kids). Really nice guy too.

I am fascinated to see what the W bros will do with it..

I am always piqued by the Wachowskis. Mr. A and I are etching out a few hours next week to see Cloud Atlas together. I might steal a few hours one morning next week and take in Argo, too. It looks fantastic.

What is Argo?

Some Jason minus his 'nauts'?

I didn't know its a book, huh.. Sometimes the movie is not as good. I love Tom Hanks, he is an awesome actor.

Actually no, it is yet another overlooked contribution that Canadians have made. Check your history, cause this story is real, however I don't know how factual the movie will be. I am an old crazy bat but I remember this happening.

As for Cloud Atlas ya gotta see the trailer.

It got a standing ovation at TIFF. I need at least one excellent movie before the world ends in Dec - I was counting on 47 Ronin, but Cloud Atlas will do.

The subject of reincarnation and destiny has always fascinated me. I will definitely watch Cloud Atlas. The trailer had me hooked before I knew it was a book. Let's compare notes after we've watched it. If you happen to see it before me, please don't tell.

Wow. Looks like a great movie (even with Hugh Grant & Tom Hanks :( but Halle Berry should do the job). The idea of past-present-future has always fascinated me, too. Time to read the book.

I am excited to read the book & watch the movie...I wish I knew about it sooner. Better late then never. I love the Wachowski siblings...amazing vision. I bet they are crazy cool to talk with!! Can you imagine ?*= o)

I watched Cloud Atlas yesterday...and left feeling heavy and sad....(maybe because I ate too much popcorn). Lol

It felt as if I watched my own thought process in a movie. Past, future...what's happened? Why? Where am I going? A moment of spiritual depth..then poof it disappears. Back to being lost in mind chatter..trying to figure my evolving self. Does anyone have answers? How do I know the true true?? Why does it feel the spiritual journey is painful? Why was being content without purpose easier? Are things really falling apart or falling together?? I live within myself daily, if I cant figure me out...how can I understand characters in fragments of a movie??? I left disappointed...only a puzzle I guess trying too hard and solve. Hee hee *=0)
