Trump's likely tax victory overshadowed by probe

There are 89 comments on the WWL-AM New Orleans story from Dec 17, 2017, titled Trump's likely tax victory overshadowed by probe. In it, WWL-AM New Orleans reports that:

Poised to bask in the triumph of his first major legislative victory, President Donald Trump's team on Sunday was again forced to grapple with the growing Russia probe that has shadowed the White House for much of the president's initial year in office. Republicans in Congress planned to muscle through tax cut legislation this week but Washington was equally fixated on speculation about the next steps from Trump and special counsel Robert Mueller, who is probing whether the president's campaign coordinated with Russian officials during last year's election.

President Trump tried to get rid of Obamascam, but there are just too many dirty Democrats, and RINO Republicans until after 2018. Democrats are defending 22 Senate Seats, and they need to pick up too many seats to take back the House. 10 of the Democrat seats are in States President Trump won in 2016.

After more than 12 months of pointless probing by the Democrats, and yielding nothing, the only thing being overshadowed is the glaring lack of a substantial program for the Democrats to offer.

Lol!

You think all liberals are in the <1%?

Because that’s the only income level that’s getting a tax cut.

It took “conservatives” 6 years to come up with a stained dress re: Clinton.

Give it some time yet.

Actually, Clinton's perjury before a Grand Jury was discovered in much shorter order.

Oh, and you should actually read the tax bill and learn how it benefits most taxpayers.

How long has this charge benn investigated that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia?
And still no evidence!
What has been determined is that the Clinton cabal did collude with the Russsians to publicize the fake Steele dossier. What has been determined is that Obama politicized the IRS and FBI to subvert the electoral process.
Yet the press continues to ignore the evidence while promulgating fake news.

You've read the 1100 page tax bill and you still have time to post on Topix? My my, Troutsky. You're either a genius or a lightweight phony. Guess where my money is.

This disgraceful document has been kept in the dark for good reason. The so-called GOP tax bill is nothing more than a Christmas present for the rich contributors to the GOP. It is also an attempted end run around Obamacare.

If the bill passes, and Trump scrawls it into law, down the road the Republican Party will suffer for it.
Maybe it's worth it after all.

I would rather that our country provide better medical care for the military and children.

Even when I donate the difference without writing that off, it will not be enough to help everyone in need.

Are you going to help those in need with your tax breaks?

We give to those that cater to the elderly, the ill, and the disabled. The rest of you sober up, get off the couch, and get a job. I pray our President is in office 8 years so he can provide job training for the Democrats laying around doing nothing but wait for the Government to fill their Debit cards.

The same old tired song.

You are not honest. You know the tax bill benefits people across the income strata, yet you persist in this horrible, delusional rhetoric opposed to any tax reform correcting your Democrat mistakes for the last fifty years.

The perjury charge wasn't concluded until Clinton's impeachment which was 6 years after Ken Starr began the investigation into the Clinton's Arkansas Whitewater dealings.

Trump's populist Tax cut sold as for the middle class albeit 15% is the permament tax cut for the wealthiest 535 plutocrats and oligarchs in America as working class families tax cuts sunset in 10 years.

LLCs taxes are reduced to 20%, estates passed on up to a value of $11 million are tax exempt, real estate taxes, state fees and income tax deductions are capped at $10,000, however repairs and expansion to your investment real estate can be depreciated over 5 years.

In Kentucky $45,215 is the median household income which calculates out to $632.88 in tax cuts and. up to a portion of $1300.00 for children up to income of $75,000

The 6 million people who paid ACA penalties for not having insurance is resolved from forfeiting the penalty withheld from their income tax refunds.

This Trump populist Trickle Down Tax cut is the typical Republican tax cut format introduced by Reagan in 1986 using the Laffer Curve theory and duplicated by George Bush in 2002 & 2003 both reigning fiscal disaster on the US economy and creating massive job loss of 10% unemployment each time.

Every crippling recession the United States has endured in the last 50 years came from Republican tax and fiscal policies and promises of job creation nevermind those tax scams were signed with the US economy expanding and having 4% or full employment.

Depends on where you live. In Texas the typical family with the Texas median $55,600 should see $600 to $700.00 dollars in annual tax relief.

Earning the median income of $55,000 raising children $50.00 to $60.00 a month in tax relief helps.

"Wasn't concluded..." How slick.

The above post only affirms benefits of the streamlining efforts of Republicans, but leaves out pertinent tax savings and benefits. It seems to imply that "sunset" inclusions are a bad thing, when all they have ever done is give opportunity for future modifications, which always happen in legislation designed to be flexible and changeable. No complaints when Democrats do it, right? Of course, the general inclination amongst such Marxists is to make truly oppressive law, that never changes.

Reducing the double taxation taking place on corporate profits by reducing tax rates to conform to what is generally acceptable in most all civilized nations today will result in continued growth in jobs, which the above poster has conveniently disposed as an issue of concern, now that the GDP is almost 4% and jobs are being made for the 25% of Black youth Democrats kept unemployed during Obama.

Just the reduction in regulations, many contradictory, within the IRS tomes of administrative law, should be reason for even Leftists to rejoice. However, they have long resolved to increase the more than 50% of Americans working for government to levels mimicking the Soviet Union, where everyone worked for the State. Losing IRS regulations and reducing paperwork galls these Marxist lunatics, as the IRS especially became a tool commonly uses by Democrats to harass political opponents and especially anyone wanting to save baby's lives.

Marxist prattle. The resultant economic downturns in any era are much longer time frame results and ramifications, than within a particular administration. You Marxists continue to try disregarding major economic impacts of actual immediacy, like 9/11's impact on American financial sectors. Your rhetoric disregards such because you can then maintain your stupid assaults on people responding to terrorism in any effective way, which your type started just weeks after that tragedy. Nonetheless, the idiocy it takes to disregard the impact of Obama's more than doubling the National Debt to $20 Trillion, simply because you look forward to the inevitable economic turmoil that will cause many years down the road and blaming it on Republican current policies, is truly appalling. But, that's what you Alinskyites do.
