My guns or my ganja? Firearm-owning pot fans face a choice

There are 27 comments on the The Capital-Journal story from Jan 14, 2018, titled My guns or my ganja? Firearm-owning pot fans face a choice. In it, The Capital-Journal reports that:

The federal government says grass and guns don't mix, and that is putting gun owners who use marijuana - and the strongly pro-gun-rights administration of President Donald Trump - in a potentially uncomfortable position. As gun-loving Pennsylvania becomes the latest state to operate a medical marijuana program, with the first dispensary on track to begin sales next month, authorities are warning patients that federal law bars marijuana users from having guns or ammunition.

This is not logical.

That term has been rendered irrelevant thanks to the lefties.

Pot, "immigrants", etc, they've decided that illegal= legal, there's no difference.

If you're under the influence, it doesn't matter. And if you are and you still make that choice to have a gun on you, then you're an idiot.

Lemme see. Guns or ganja. Hmm. Well, they both blow smoke. How about a joint and a bubble-blower gun?

What needs to be done is to remove marijuana from the Schedule 1 list of the Federal Government. Or the repeal of the GCA of 1968.

I don't think either will be easy, but one must happen if people who use marijuana want to possess firearms.

I do not use marijuana, never had the desire or curiosity, but I realize the prohibition was born of racism, just as gun control was.

As a former paratrooper, you would know what it means to jump to a conclusion.
But aren't you tacitly suggesting that it's okay for heavy drinkers to use firearms?

I don't know the statistics but I'd bet a few bob that alcohol users on average are more violent than pot users. Yet...

Yes, and I take note you made a HALO jump to a conclusion.

Nothing in my post mentioned alcohol, the story was about marijuana, and that is what I addressed.

Do you agree with my statements? Is there something I actually posted you believe is wrong?
