Trump is trying very hard to walk the fence to keep his white supremacist supporters.

Problem is, it is way too thin and he keeps falling off.

He had a tiny moment of partial redemption and then he fell off again.

He should have stopped while he was barely above water.

The only thing consistent about Trump is his inability to be consistent.

He also cannot seem to understand some basics in decency.

While the thought process of far right radicals that would utilize violence to further their goals, far left have no moral superiority in utilizing the violent street tactics employed by German Nazis before WW2.

I do not believe he is trying to appease anyone. He is trying to be logical in his condemnation of this confrontation.

There are some that if Trump wiped, powdered their butts, and gave them a million bucks they would still bitch about him.

The right marched to keep Civil War monuments, the left marched against the right. There was violence.

Do dumb-ass people want to ferment another Civil War while protesting against Civil War statues?

Trump has no credibility anywhere. Trump's only interest is in what's advantageous for Trump.

He's a fool to attempt to draw any equlivancy between racist, neo nazis the klan and neo confederates and clergy lead counter protesters.

I noticed the Buffoon omitted the lymchpin that began tbe chaos, paramilitary adorned racist anti-Americans brutally beating bible toting clergymen praying at the enterance of emancipation park mote than one hour before the rally.

Strangely enough the bogus accounts I've read on this sight only mirror theTrump talking points

There's not going to be no civil war and those monuments to treasonous traitors are eventually coming off public lands .

First, the committed US Troops aren't likely to defend treasonous confederate monuments erected as a means of intimidation and tyranny towards blacks during the civil rights and jim crow era.

Civil war historians note that the Union early on approached Lee to lead the Union Army. Lee rejected the offer simply because he felt he had to be loyal to Virginia first. His politics was not really into the Confederate cause.

Grant, on the other hand, was near the bottom of his class at Westpoint while Lee was at the top. It's just one of those curious things that grades really don't reflect on one's real world ability to interpret and apply the knowledge learned in a school. Grant's presidency was also reputed to be among the most corrupt in American history even if Grant himself was not.

And Lee was ultimately a loser and traitor who died in shame, while Grant won and became President.

With statues of Canadians who also were traitors to the United States of America, you have unwittingly defined yourself to be unreasonable.
