This is what "tax cuts" has meant:

The very wealthy pay considerably less in income taxes as a percentage of income than middle class or poor persons do. cbpp.org/sites/default/files/thumbnails/image...

Whatever the percentages are Americans can look at their paychecks, and see if they are better off today then they were 2 years ago. They are, and they will vote their pocketbook. It is the Economy, Stupid.

Whatever their paychecks and however "better off they are" the poor and middle class pay more in taxes as a percentage of their income than do the very wealthy, and that is obscene.

But that is the point. I don't care how much taxes the rich pay, or if they pay. Most have corporations that hire people. When people work I don't have to pay taxes to feed, clothe, house, and pay for their healthcare like for the wounded in massacres in minority neighborhood in major Democrat run cities. Democrat piss more money down sewers in cities the we could ever give the rich that provide jobs.

If they are in the same professional job they were 2 years ago, they've been given 2 annual raises. Your point is moot.

And the wealthy INVEST a far greater percentage of their income in the effort to make more - which creates jobs, and even entire industries. Allowing the middle class to find jobs that put food on the table, pay for cars, TVs, Smartphones, dining out, which in turn helps MORE middle-class people put food on the table, pay for cars, TV's, Smartphones, dining out, etc ..........

The economic ignorance of the average American is appalling. And the hatred of the very people that PROVIDE the stimulus for those jobs is almost treasonous.

The Dems don't get it. They want to punish success. That's just stupid.

If you would stop worrying how much more, or less taxes the rich pay, you could have your own job, your own life, vacations, new car, just have a backyard Bar B q, and enjoy life instead of being jealous of people that probably work harder then you do, are smarter, then you are, and don't give the likes of you a second thought. So why are you wasting time on them?

Balance the burden.

BTW:

Then --> at that time; at the time in question OR after that; next; afterward.

Than (the word you should use)--> introducing the second element in a comparison.

Back that claim up with a citation, you ignorant white supremacist.

The wealthy keep more of their wealth on a percentage basis, assuming you're talking about entrepreneurial efforts rather than passive investing such as buying art or gold or mutual funds.

Even if what you claim were true that still is no excuse for an obscene tax system in which the wealthy pay less in taxes on a percentage basis than middle class or poor people. A person could only support such taxation if the very idea is to make the rich richer still...which is what has been happening under R. Presidents after Ford.

Right wing base = stupid, ignorant, brainwashed.

The rich pay less as a percentage of income in taxes. You're in your usual stupid, clinical denial. It's not "more," lying cretin.

And going along with that sort of obscenity is not what makes the middle class disappear. It's the regressive tax policies the right wing base bought into that did that...because the wealth concentrates more and more upwards.

So who did Obama's stimulus packages benefit except mega corporations, big banks, and mega billionaires who backed Hillary and whose business practices are already subsidized by the Federal Government? As usual the Left calls things the exact opposite of what they really are.

When the facts don't support the Leftist narrative fall back on threats and name calling. It's certain as Christmas is coming.

How many people would have been out of work had all of the corporations closed?

How many people were put out of work when Obama and previous administrations subsidized those jobs to be sent elsewhere? Trump is reversing that trend. Make up your mind. What story are you going with? Careful your don't contradict yourself again.

I know people that are working good jobs now that were unemployed and worried when Obama was President.
They have hope of having a career now and to reach retirement and have a nice decent home and a good vehicle to take the family on vacation and to be able to finally live the American dream.
They don't want government hand outs, they want to work and do what's right.
It's nice to see these people finally living the life they dream of.
Nobody tells them what to do except their employers when they are at work and they are perusing happiness.

Nope. Only the uber wealthy pay less in taxes.

I think there should be a flat rate of 10% no matter what. No deductions.

Unfortunately the uber rich hide their money in shell accounts and the middle class and poor get stuck with the bill.

Inflation is eating up the wage increases.

Money isnít a real concept. It is no longer based on the gold standard. Money is now a class issue. If too many people get rich, those at the top will find a way to make sure money is devalued.

Rumor has it Trump just wanted to print more money. Seems he doesnít understand the consequences of such a bad choice, or he does because he has so much money inflation and devaluation cannot hurt him.

Which is it?

I've not made contradicting statements. What statements do you believe contradict what I've typed? Maybe you misunderstood a sarcastic remark?

Here's the point. You are only worth so much in wages. Work on doing better so you can make more money. Rich are not going to share with you. This is not a Socialist country. So don't worry about the rich. They could care less about you. When I am rich I will only care about me, and mine. Concentrate on getting rich.

No matter how hard a poor or middle class person works or what they do the rich pay less in taxes as a percentage of their income. That means the proverbial playing field is unequal in a particularly obscene way.(There is very little upward mobility in this society, statistically speaking, at least as far as going above the middle class.)

Of course the rich are going to take all they can. That's the whole point, moron.
