I would have LOVED to go and see this. Unfortuneatly, I could not afford to go. If I did have the money, I would have ordered a ticket in a second. This seems to always happen. Oh well, I recently met him anyway, and that's good enough for me.

So Scot, even though I couldn't make it to your special event, thanks for 10 years of laughs, forecasts, your positive attitude, your contributions to Connecticut, kids, organizations, and most importantly the pets! I LOVE you Scot. You're the perfect example of a perfect man, and I wish you the most heartfelt continued success. Make it another great 10-30 years!!

Scot (make sure only one t please) is multifaceted but everything is about self promotion. More than even Al, he has convinced himself it really IS all about SCOT

LOVE him. He's the reason I watch WFSB in the morning. He, and a good cup of coffee - wake me up every morning. Bright, funny, and good to the community - just think he's a doll.

I stopped watching Channel 3 in the morning because Scot's ego has gotten so big he can hardly fit through a door. But from what I have heard he does a lot of good things behind the camera we don't hear about. And to celebrate 10 years at the same station is a feat in it self

Didnt he just make a comment about Obama, saying he should be the turkey that gets killed!

Some type of Thanksgiving situation, not sure if Dubya or Palin was pardoning their turkey.

I have never understood why people watch the news for anything but a reiteration of the events of the day. So many people talk of these local newscasters as "their friends" and hold expectations that the news reader somehow "connect" with them on a personal level. Get a life and get some real friends. I far prefer the distanced relationship between viewer and news reader which exists in Europe on such networds as BBC One, BBC World Service, or Sky News.
If you are really looking for "friends" or "entertainment" from teh news shows, you have low standards with these local newspeople prattling about local birthdays or one sentence relays of "Looks like a great day, Joe." And spare us the cooking segments. I would love to see one of these local reporters discuss the nitty gritty of micro-economics beyond "hmmm, seems like bad news".

We love Scott Haney! I remember when he started and my kids were in diapers. He used to crack me up while I was pulling my hair out raising my little ones.

It seems that Scot Haney's target market is/are elderly women over 65 and fat 'f*&^g hags'. What a strange equation, he is either really loved or really disliked. I am in the dislike camp.

Why is it , the second, someone says something not kind about a gay guy, it is mean or nasty. I consider myself liberal and do not like Haney, it has nothing to do with him being gay.

The first time I turned the tv on and saw this guy, I wanted to vomit. Of all the comments here, it is apparent that the Gay Community loves having this flaming idiot on TV. I've hung out with other people from his station, and they are more than embarassed by Scot with one T...Scot with one T, you are a deviant psycopath...
