1988 April Tinsley Murder To Be America's Most Wanted Profile Case

Known, for apparent reasons, as "The Railroad Killer," Angel Resendez (who was known throughout much of the manhunt by the alias Rafael Ramirez) has been called "a man with a grudge," "confused," hostile" and "angry" by the police, the news media and psychiatrists.
He pretty much followed a routine. For one, the murders all occurred "in close proximity to train track locations,"

I watched the movie The Pledge today excellent movie, the ending through me for a loop, I realise the retired cop suffered from delusions but I was convinced that little Chrissy was talking about a real person when she told the detective about the wizard, you really have to give this movie your undivided attention to totally understand what is going on, how did you interpret the movie, I'd like to hear your interpretation of the events.

Actually you have not documented any of these answers...just the word of a few posters...what gives you the right to just say things and we should believe them.

Tommy happens to live near April...was also blocks away from her abduction site at the time she was abducted...has family in Spencerville...ect. you people are pointing fingers at, and stalking you neighbors...but OMG, don't even ask us to prove anything.

So what exactly did the police do with the information Tommy gave them?

I was 200 miles away and had no clue as to this crime until this year.

Sorry, I was distracted...I never said he was a railroad bum or someone who worked on the trains...we had discussed this earlier... I was thinking someone involved with maintenance or a sub contractor who repairs the tracks. These guys travel from town to town and are there for months sometimes. The become familiar with that areas close to the locations the work and stay.
I actually traveled with such a crew for a possible video project, they were in the manufacturing trade...they installed assembly lines in manufacturing plants. I worked, ate, slept as they did and know they are limited to their travels when in a different town.

That was an excellent movie and I really don't know why it received so little publicity.

I don't wish to spoil it for others who want to see it but I will say this...His instincts were correct as everyone else would not believe him.

They seem to like to mention Hope Rippeys name a lot, and it came out of nowhere. We know Hope was fooling around with witchcraft along with Laurie Tackett before they killed Shanda, and Laurie was still practicing it while in prison. It was my understanding from the contents of an earlier blog posted on this thread that RW was Janet's brother and April's Uncle, you corrected that information and this person is Michael Tinsley's nephew, thank you for your clarification just a simple misjudgement of how exactly RW is related to the family, I just wanted to ask you whereas you know the Tinsley family personally, over the years have Michael and Janet ever had thoughts about who could have possibly carried out this vile crime against their daughter? Michael apparently felt April would not go with someone unknown to her, I'm sure if anyone knew his daughter Michael Tinsley did.

Once everyone has a chance to watch this movie I'd really like to discuss it further, enough said, I'll be patient and wait, Jack Nicholson is an amazingly talented actor, his character is remarkable he is a real phenomena in this movie, I believe the movie was directed by Sean Penn.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you have just forgotten he was at work 3 miles away at the guesstimated time that she was taken. Many people will swear to it.

It happens without a doubt, LE and social workers have been known to lead witnesses and victims regarding testimony in court ultimately the end result wrongful conviction, I would never want to see this happen to anybody, I would like to see the full documentary, gut wrenching the victim and the victimized.

You know BTK was in church regularly worshipping with a group of people who would never have believed this seemingly man of God would ever offend his church, religion, clergy and fellow congregation by killing in his off time, my question is could there have been anyone of questionable character within the church April attended? Someone that may have observed April singing in the choir and became fixated with her, observing April over a period of time, there are people who attend church and represent him/herself like a pillar of their church and community and inwardly contemplate their demented desires towards their intended child victim/s, has anyone investigated to see if anyone acted out of character towards little girls that attended the same church as April ?

I have seen this video...I actually read the book about it ten years ago...unbelievable the stuff they did. The prosecutor played off of the community's Hysteria and convicted many innocent people, ruined all their lives, and the things that they did to the children to get them to testify against their own parents could be considered abuse in itself.
After they were finished interrogating the kids they accused everybody. One little kid would point to an adult and say he abused me...than this prosecutor would go after that family...soon the kid was walking around the prosecutors office pointing at the staff and saying...they abused me?? WTF...and they did not consider this kid was damaged.
This prosecutor was drunk with power and did not care who's live he destroyed on his way to the top.
And this social worker with her "pucker test". Absolutely NO logic to it...pseudoscience

To CybersuzieQ.. I don't think I ever asked Mike or Janet if they had had any thoughts as to who would have done this, I may have asked that in 1988 but that was along time ago..As for the people in her church I really have no idea I never attended that church..

Koko, I do not have any idea where RW was at the time in 1988, but I am sure that he did spend some time with them since they are family, I told Mike exactly what the threat was that he said to Justice word for word as he told me, however Mike believes that RW was not responsible for the killing. Justice and a friend of his were at the bar looking for someone else when RW's sister pointed out Justice to RW, and that is when RW went up and threatened Justice.
