That's so sad. I started watching American Bandstand when I was 9 years old. Dick Clark was like a family friend to so many people.

God bless you and RIP.

The 'ME' generation of today, really has no clue, what Dick Clark meant to the entertainment industry. Bow your heads and say a prayer. A true legend has passed. R.I.P. Dick. The ones who grew up with you, will never forget.

My head is bowed and I'm as sad as you. I have always judged people who seem to never age with Dick Clark. I can remember my sister and here friends doing the mash potato and the twist to bands on American Bandstand on Saturday's. A ture American Icon has left us today.:-(

^^^ Idk about him being murdered like MJ, but ABC sure tried to murder his career - threatened took, and DC caved (can't say I blame him - MJ wouldn't and the result was HE was murdered.) Same as Sony DID of Micheal's career, and later, his very life.

What's interesting is the common denominator is The Beatles. MJ owning the Beatles catalog, and Clark being forced to relinquish his share of Beatles ownership (LONG before MJ bought the catalog)- which was LATER released AFTER ABC literally stole it from him.

Give it up, OR ELSE. MJ chose OR ELSE. Both icons beyond amazing, respectively.

RIP Mr. Dick Clark.

The production of REAL music died with MJ, and the era of representing such, has now died with DC.

Sorely missed, is a seriously gross understatement.

**sigh...**

I was just saying it seems Ryan Seacrest has become the new Dick Clark. Still a bit of maturity to go.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Scorpio

It's a frustrating and rather disappointing day because you have to cope with delays and setbacks to your plans. A travel arrangement may have to be postponed or there could be a hitch about something connected with education. You're also feeling subdued and tired, and you're longing to spend some time on your own although this may not be possible. Don't worry, this difficult mood will soon blow over.
