Is not Ghost it is still happenig now. Thousands of people are in Prizon for refusing to join the South Korean Military.
If you refuse to join the South Korea Military you can also end up Dead like 5 people where shot dead after they escaped the Military Base that they were taken there by force. The South Korean Army accussed them of "Abondoning" the Army when those people were suppossed to be in Prizon because a Judge send the there. The South Korean Army they think that they are Judge and Jury.
All of this is happening under the noses of the USA Army of 26,000. Not a single finger has the USA Army moved to tell South Korean Government to Stop behaving like North Korean.
One day South Korean are going to regret their Fun that they are having in Torturing people who does not want to join the South Korea Army.
The governments just wants males to go to army for 2 years to be prepared for any conflict that comes, and you want to compare them to North Korea?
