This does not sound good for fans who have not seen him perform yet. I hope to god he does not revoke his bond. The man has been in compliance and even have proof it wasn't his fault. Why are they making such a big deal about it. Kellz will definitely be in my prayers tonight.

Any one of responding on this topic would already be in jail. The judge would not care about our tour bus, broke down car, late Metra train or any other excuse we might have.
I have to disagree with Rob about his assessment of kelly's music. I will admit I am not a fan of rap in general, but the rap genre has progressed to the point it is difficult to tell one from amother. Also, there is too much lip - syncing in music today, and rap starts are not immune to this.
Bottom line, Rob, Makaveli, Frank Coconat and MS TISH would be sitting in jail right now. Frankly kelly is not that good.

R. Kelly should have been adjudicated by this time. Why is this trial taking so long? If this man committed a crime then his he should been in court by now, if no crime was committed his named should be cleared.

The media keeps leaving out Kelly was having sex, and urinated on the girl. Kelly should be proud of his conduct. You don't hear from women's origanizations like NOW about this. It looks like all the thousands of dollars he is paying his lawyers will get him off. The way the judge delayed this case for so long you wonder what the judge is doing or I should say not doing. Maybe the judge did the delay on purpose?

"I believe I can fly." I guess the judge will be saying not, or even ride the bus.

Amazing, I read an article the other day in the Trib that a guy got sentenced to 60 days in jail for an incident during a hockey game - it only took days from incident to sentencing.

Yet, it has taken over 5 years from incident to TRIAL for a serious crime.

This judicial system is so messed up.

If they wait long enough I'm sure the statute of limitations will expire and nothing will happen.

This has got to be record breaking in terms of how long its taken to go to trial.

Apparently, when you are famous, the laws that apply to everybody else and the processes that apply to everybody else - just don't apply anymore.

He showed up, big deal one day delay, how many delays have the great states attorney ask for? How about the Judge?? Is he on time (not at 26th/Cal). A big waste of States Money> Kelly will win and the state will lose with no witnesses, stop wasting the state cash, for prosecuters egos!

How much money and extra time has the state used?? Would they get all these experts to testify and spend $$$$ on research for a regular Joe Shmo??? Lets Find Peterson, or the other 600 or so unsolved murders in Chicago over the last 2 years.

Now when the bus was told to rest for 8 hours did anybody think of renting a car or getting a plane for R. Kelly to get to Chicago to make sure that he made his court date. Seems logical but that is just me.
