Bald eagles focus of E. Shore wind farm dispute
Federal regulators say a proposed wind farm on Maryland's Eastern Shore could kill up to 20 bald eagles a year.

Bald eagles were endangered but in 1995 were taken off the list. Bald eagles primarily fed on fish but due to over fishing they feed on other birds or anything that's dead. They have expanded faster than pigeons now and kill off each other for territory. Losing 20 a year to wind farms would be a shame but really no big deal.
