soon anyone who works in the coal industry will be unemployed, if the obama administration has it's way.
what is the story with his obsession with "green" energy companies?

Pretty much everything that we do as humans harms the environment. Sure , I could buy totally electric car, but that car would have batteries that have all kinds of goodness inside that are not good for the environment.
Our planet is a living thing . The only absolute truth that I have encountered is that all living things die and there is nothing you can do about it.

Due to the massive amount of nickle that has to be mined , refined and turned into batteries, they're about as eco-friendly as a hummer .You'd do more for the environment by buying a diesel.

that's right. the planet is more resiliant than us humans. the planet will be around long after our species is gone. the planet has survived events (ice age, meteors etc)
that would have killed us.
we need to watch out for the humans, we are only another animal riding on this big blue ball.
