The world has both a growing population and growing energy needs. Every form of energy use makes entropy which is waste heat that heats the earth.
No energy is without its problems. The earth can only dump enough heat each day to support 2 billion at a middle class life style. The energy problem becomes a population problem.
Nuclear energy besides the safety and waste problems has the heat problem and the water needed to cool plants. If you want a better environment and quality of life plan on not making more children to exceed the world balance number of 2 billion.
We noe have 7 billion that many are suffering because of past parents having children they could not afford to bring to life. I suspect nature will fix that and nature has no compassion.
