Alert to Congress: Nuclear evacuation may bog down

There are 11 comments on the Seattle Times story from Apr 10, 2013, titled Alert to Congress: Nuclear evacuation may bog down. In it, Seattle Times reports that:

A new government report challenges a pillar of planning for disasters at American nuclear power plants, finding that people living beyond the official 10-mile evacuation zone might be so frightened by the prospect of spreading radiation that they would flee of their own accord, clog roads, and delay the escape of others.

Personally I stay at least 100 miles away, but that's just personal preference.

Well, why not one bazillion miles?
.
Sheeple indeed. I wonder if the real sheeple (not petrodollar financed agitateurs) like gasoline at 5 USD a gallon?

The goal is to get rid of all nuke plants, but until that happens just stay as far away as you can get; also be aware of the prevailing wind direction and geographical features that affect fallout patterns.

I have no problem with $5 gas; it cuts down on consumption and makes me money in the stock market.

Oh, so you have a financial interest in seeing oil go up, up, up (think 20 USD gallon of gasoline)?
.
So your anti-nuclear aggitation and fearmongering is simply a means to enrich yourself at other's (including mine) expense!
.
Happy you clarified that.

While the half-life of more than TWO BILLION YEARS, it is awfully heavy, and won't likely travel more than 50 miles, even in a steam explosion.

The other crap will blow over in a few weeks. Or years, or at worse, decades.

Put a sheeple in your tank.
Has gas gone to $5.00 in your town? it has fallen almost 50 cents here. Tough for you in Fiji!

Ach, what you're saying is that in their enormous generosity, the Lords of British Petroleum and Royal Anglo-Shell lowered their exaction by a whopping 10%?
My eyes tear with gratitude!
.
And the petroshaikhs went along, reducing the jizyah? May Allah the Merciful Repay them (and especially the Saud benefactors to mankind) 10fold!

Hot of the presses:
.
"Highest Premium Gas Prices in the Last 24 hours
Price 4.99 Station Area Thanks
update CITGO
1320 Hutchinson River Pkwy N near E Tremont Exit Bronx BxBiker
1 hour ago"
.
So no, the Lords and PetroShaikhs were not that generous.
.
Still,
May Allah Repay them in His Great Mercy!
