Over a Dozen Nuclear Power Plants in Hurricane Sandy's Path

I read thirty or forty of the responses within the article and not a nary a one has a clue how a nuclear power plant works but all of them profess to be experts. You could learn more than what they know by going to wikapedia which is not exactly the best of reference material (THAT WAS A DIG IF YOU DID NOT GET IT)
And on the news today how many plants metlted down or had any issues which provided any threat to the employees or the public? Answer zero and that is probably why we hear nothing about it, huh I wonder why.
