I think we all Ethiopian need to join hands for the successful completion of the project. It really changes Ethiopia, i appreciate the rulling party giving priority to achieve long term value projectes rather than the short and less valuable ones. We are already observing changes and what is needed from all of us is patience. Let's all agree on this and be sure i am not memeber of any poletical party nor any ethnic extreamist. I am free Ethiopian of the middle class but always angry as we were labled to be the poorest nation of the world. Let's all think positively and let's not hear enemies (if any)

Yes!!!!!!!!! This is really wonderful!!! You know people there is something that makes me angry and let my heart cried: that is the action of Egypt, her egocentric behavior; knocking the doors of multilateral and bi-lateral(affluence countries)organizations not to fund any dam constructions in Ethiopia. This is really unfair. However, We, Ethiopians, perfectly know how to cooperate to defeat any enemy, even Egypt herself knows very much. But,remember it is an implicit(indirect) war against our mother land.

The new dam will cost us around 80 billion birr and will completely covered by the Ethiopian government, the government is the people(at least in principle.)Let the 80 million people raise hands and fund our dams for 100 birr:let the billionaires fund billion birr, let the millionaires fund million birr, let the thou senders fund thousends and let the hundreders fend hundreds. Let we raise our hands and purchase government bonds and make realize that dam, please let we do it, Ethiopian people!!!

Sure there might be problems. No country of the world live with out problem, yet their supremacy is measured by their ability to solve the problem they face with. This is the way to solve our problem, being hand to hand when the world turned away its face from us. Bear in mind people, we have every thing: nature is bounty, we are gifted with interesting culture and diversified people, we have creative mind..., we are rich in every thing, however,we couldn't appropriate what we have, this is our problem as far as I internalized it. We are destitute in attitude, this is our problem... My beloved people who live here and abroad let we extract our resource by creating capital by ourselves... let this one be our commencement... let we fund this dam... and then we will be like the one what we were before long times ago. Time has come to show the world that we can stand by our own feet. We don't need their burnt wheat that makes our farmers lazy and in confident.they just spend their time sitting on diamond to beg the so called burnt wheat. This is true for my parents are farmers.

You may not have the money and ofcourse that is not the only thing that one needs to help his poor country. Some Ethiopians do not have any positive attitude towards the leadership and i was one of them at the biginning. My job is realted to business with forigners and sooner i realized that every one loves his country more than himself. Indians, chinese, Egyptians, Uk, Arabs, even our neighbours Erytrians, Sudanese & Kenyans all they do love their country and their leaders much more than we Ethiopians and i concluded that is the reason why we are poor. I checked and turned my mind and here after i am not blind opposer of the leadership. I love my country and my people as others do. I never complain any thing against my poor country, as i have the love. I rather think, what i can do for my poor country. I am ready to donate not just my money but my life and i mean it serious.

Odd and unreliable comments are always coming from Errytria, a region of camels. No civilized thinking is expected from you as you are 100 years back ward. What about your people, wearing dirt and nothing to eat but fighting with body lices and insects
