Laos is an independent country. They can build more dams in their land as they please. Who care what Vietnam think.

there are always consequences. yes laos can do whatever it wants as long as it does not hurt another country. It is within Vietnam's right to protect her national interest. if it comes to no more water for Vietnam due to laos misadventure then it will be war. Chinks or no chinks. Vietnam will acquire nukes to prevent the chinks from sticking their greedy nose into someone else affair.

If there is war Laos and China will defeat Vietnam easily. China with 1.3 billion and had nuke. They will send Viet Cong back to their rat hole.

Once you let the chinks come in, they will never leave Laos. The chinks will make Laos as one of their province. Play with chinks at your own risk. LOL

Laos has no choice. either friend with China or CSVN, but I think Laos really smart. CSVN still have to kowtow to China why not just play with the big boss. CSVN just a hireling, they also have licked the boss boots.

Laos know how to play China and Vietnam. So let see who will invest more money in Laos next year. Thailand, China or Vietnam. China is building $7 billion railway in Laos starting next month. Thailand is building hydropower, Mekong bridge. Vietnam invested $2.6 billion. Who having a last laugh Hahaha
