Hydroelectricity from my pond

Can someone tell me if it is possible to power my house using a micro hydroelectric generator with a turbine and my garden pond that pumps 500 gallons per minute.

Pumps or flows? If you are pumping it, probably not. If it has a decent flow, probably so.
