Let's see, how long has OUC or at least some semblence of the company been in business? What were they doing 40 years ago when the last push for alternative energy systems was made during the Oil Embargo that had everyone in gas lines without a threat of a hurricane? Why have they continued like most utilities in Florida to put all their eggs in basically one basket of using oil, tying all of their customers to paying whatever the oil companies tell us that we have to pay and remain their 'energy prisoner'? I should think that with all the supposed high powered talent (to come up with a bright idea) at OUC that someone would have thought of this years ago. While Europe and the rest of the US are actually doing something, our utilities are the laughing stock of the world while we wear the monikor of "Sunshine State". They should be embarrassed that they barely use 3% of alternative energy sources, relying upon oil and nuclear. I urge all utility customers into shaming them into making it their goal at becoming the leader in Solar Power, not the last state to finally do something and actually resist the State of Florida's Utility Commission to actually meet a 20% alternative energy plan. When you watch how the Utilities conduct themselves in the public broadcast hearings at the Utility Commission in Tallahassee, you see how they act like spoiled children and only want it their way. When it comes to their way, they are only interested in how much money they will make and in my opinion how long they can continue to keep us "ENERGY PRISONERS"! I urge you to do what you can to research and support powering your lives with solar energy and turning off these thieves! "Power to the People"!

you are right. energy company is fox in chicken coop in sunshine state. PUC cronies are more corrupting than lobbyist legislator business. Instead of upside down buildings, orlando ought be leader in BIPV....as visitors from all over US and world will leave inspired.

Discussions and meetings go really well today because you're finding it easy to put your thoughts into words. You'll also show that you respect other people's viewpoints even if they don't coincide with your own. It's a good day for making domestic plans, and some of these will be quite ambitious without being unrealistic or far-fetched.
