My View: Biomass good for Mass.
Massachusetts is in the midst of a serious debate about the environmental impact of biomass power, and whether increasing their use of clean, renewable biomass for electricity could potentially lead to unintended negative consequences.

In a perfect world, all burning oil, coal or any biomass for that matter, is evil. REALITY CHECK.... we don't live in a perfect world and I'm willing to bet that on a ton to ton comparison,the emissions from a modern biomass plant are far less than the average car. However, I see eventually, the quantity of biomass plants will need to be regulated...the demand will outstrip the (responsible) supply.
