Historically, there have always been and always will be merchants of doom, not all of them belonging to Greenpeace.
Of course bad things are going to happen, there's no avoiding most of them, but whatever happens, some people are sure to profit at the expense iof Joe public.

Gloval warming fear heats up global madness

"NOT that this will come as a surprise, but global warming hysteria is driving people out of their minds.

A couple of years ago, the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry reported the case of a 17-year-old Melbourne lad diagnosed with "climate change delusion".

This poor kid had developed the belief that "due to climate change, his own water consumption could lead within days to the deaths of 'millions of people' through exhaustion of water supplies."

The boy's a big drinker. Now a gathering of shrinks in Auckland has turned up another side-effect of warmist worry: sufferers of obsessive compulsive disorder are increasingly falling victim to Al Gore's Disease.

According to a report from The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists' Congress: "Climate change related obsessions and/or compulsions were identified in 28 per cent of patients presenting with obsessive compulsive disorder."

"Further from Farr's report: "Of the change believers, 27 per cent would not pay more than $100 a year extra." Beautiful. That wouldn't even cover the annual toilet paper expenses in Al Gore's nine bathrooms.

When sceptics and believers alike are becoming aligned against high-cost answers to a problem that doesn't exist, it's time to cut and run."

Welcome to BrainPOP.

Kids Fear Global Warming More Than Terrorism, Car Crashes, and Cancer, According to National Earth Day Survey

"BrainPOP, a Web-based educational company with more than 600 animated
shorts on topics ranging from allergies to word problems, has produced
numerous movies about the environment. In honor of Earth Day, BrainPOP is
making 14 of its environment-related shorts, including "Global Warming" and
the new "Humans and the Environment," available for free for the months of
April and May. To see the special Earth Day section, users can go to
http://www.brainpop.com/earthday . In particular, BrainPOP's "Global
Warming" movie explains the nuts and bolts of this issue, while the "Humans
and the Environment" movie discusses some of the many things children can
do to contribute in a positive way to the health of the planet, including
conserving electricity, participating in neighborhood cleanups, and making
their voices heard.
BrainPOP's survey was conducted by Survey Monkey.com , from April 2nd -
April 18th, with a total of 1,023 middle school participants. BrainPOP
solicited participation through a newsletter sent to a network of about
20,000 teachers nationwide, in which teachers were invited to have their
students take part in this online survey."

If Glowbull warming takes kid's minds off of terrorism, car crashes and cancer, it can't be a bad thing, because every one of those is more likely to kill them before they reach old age.

From the article:
-
Nevertheless, in 1994 Greenpeace just knew that climate change would lead to more disease. Its report includes a closeup photo of a person with a large open sore on their face, and declares that:

Our health is threatened by climate change. Malaria, asthma, encephalitis, tuberculosis, leprosy, dengue fever and measles are all expected to become more common.

How does Greepeace know this?

because Australian officials “believe hotter summer temperatures may be contributing” to an increase in malaria
because US researchers think the discovery of a new strain of mosquito suggests that these mosquitoes “may spread rapidly in a global warming world”
because a UK government report “suggests that malaria and other tropical diseases, and even bubonic plague, could be reintroduced to the UK as a result of global warming.”

Greenpeace's ship of fools

As a co-founder of Greenpeace in the UK and a member of the first board of Greenpeace International, I am deeply saddened by the organisation's decision to spend £14m on a ship when it already has perfectly serviceable vessels in which to operate ("The Warrior returns", Magazine). Largely due to the sinking of the Rainbow Warrior in 1985, Greenpeace has enjoyed a massive growth in income and support in the last 25 years.

Yet it seems so far removed from reality that it chooses now, in these times of economic and political strife, to plough £14m not into a sustainable energy demonstration project, nor into a joint effort with a development charity to unite the causes of poverty and environment but into a new ship which will be as alien to the peoples of the Amazon as Greenpeace is in danger of becoming to a generation hoping for it to realise its true potential.

I doubt that it takes their minds off of terrorism, car crashes and cancer....it adds the mythical threat of AGW to the list.

Organizations like BrainPOP are propaganda machines designed to indoctrinate our children as sheeple into the mindless Cult of AGW.

If the children are constantly exposed to lies, the lies become their new reality and it appears that BrainPOP has had success in moving the mythical threat of AGW to the top of the list.

This "brainwashing" technique has been used many, many times in past (ex. Hitler Youth were indoctrinated in anti-Semitism) and is used by all Cults.

This type of propaganda being force-fed to our children by taxpayer funded Teachers is a very real problem.
------
A few years ago David Suzuki was invited to speak to a group of Calgary elementary school kids where he spread AGW alarmism, told them that Canadian PM Stephen Harper does not care about the enviroment or them and urged the kids to convince their Parents that voting for Harper was wrong.

Many parents were hopping mad at the Teachers who not only allowed this NUT to talk to their children, the Teachers also had the children raise money for Suzuki's so called "charitable foundation".

Some parents moved their kids to other schools and some complained to Revenue Canada about Suzuki's "tax-exempt" Foundation.

While many AGW CULTISTS consider Suzuki to be some sort of Gaia God, most rational people realize that he is an ECO-NUT and don't want him anywhere near their children.

Gord, I'm sure we were all indoctrinated to some extent when we were kids.

When I was a Kid, there were no "Teachers" pushing "Fantasy Science" as the Truth.
