I am always interested in people who say we need to conserve energy, in a nation that is growing and needs more energy. Will someone define conserve as it relates to energy!

conserve - eliminate frivolous use.

example: stop the wasteful practice of coercing huge numbers of folks to visit or reside in areas where energy is required to keep them reasonably comfortable.

Can you imagine how much energy (electricity) would be saved simply by banning air conditioning?
