NRGs CEO David Crane knows what the future holds and is steering his company towards a sustainable future. Other Utilities are engaged in lobbying and politicking to protect their monopolies. Sooner or later like many industries over the years, hostile takeovers and acquisitions will create one large conglomerate that will rule the industry. It looks like right now NRG is positioning itself for this future.
It's getting to be difficult to have a pledge of allegiance for "..one Nation under GOD..." Perhaps the new PC pledge will be "..one Nation, off the grid..."
