Davey demands EU emissions target
Europe should commit to a tough new target to halve emissions by 2030, Climate Change Secretary Ed Davey has said.

Such a target is absurd. The target should be a set emission level per kWh. A level of ~400g/kWh would be about half the current AVERAGE EU level. That should be the goal. Eventually, the target could be made stricter, down to about 100g/kWh. Heck, maybe even 50 MAY be achievable, eventually.
