wind turbines kill cattle by sleep deprivation.
solar panels kill birds by some kinda radiation thing.

build housing on stilts or houseboats, grow rice or something that'll grow marshy... stop the muppett show of trying to save the planet by saving finite fuels... it won't work

Your post does not delve into our reality much. There are threads on these points in topix.

Adaptation happens regardless of what you say but your misunderstanding is gross. It is not the planet but the living is facing man-made extinction.

perhaps if Al Gore gave up his fleet of SUVS and some of his huge mansions, we wouldn't get flooded so often. I wonder whose fault it was for the bad floods in 18th century Worcester, and other times as well? the previous high water levels are all marked along by the cathedral. I expect G Bush did them after he killed the dinosaurs.

since when was this the "Hippy News Forum"? the loons would have been better employed rescuing people from flooding.

most of our recent floods were caused by GREEN activists and Gore believers, who convinced the government that -

it wouldn't ever snow again
we were to expect severe DROUGHTS
it would be much hotter here
don't bother with flood defences or dredging.

now look what happened!

Get outa here!

The wettest winter in 248 years? It would have flooded even if every river had been flooded.

As to droughts, the UK will get more by the end of the century. And possibly more extreme rainfall events in between.

The cult of stupid tells warmer temperatures and more rain will be good for agriculture, but this is in fact what you get: a couple of years of drought, then a flood.

Not good for anybody.

Expect more of it.

And more angry deniers trying to claim it's all the fault of the environmentalists.

What do you neeed to know to be sure? Learning the truth.

What's that delves into the truth? Science. Learn the science somehow.

Besides are you sure of anything in life any way? It's always probabilities but you see the trend that probabilities are growing in magnitude. What do you expect when 90 million tons of man-made heat-trapping CO2 spew into our atmosphere every day? Equivalent to 400,000 hiroshimas daily.

Global warming, climate change, floods, droughts, ocean acidification, extinctions, sealevel rise, refugees,..

Read more and ponder about humanity and its role.

this is the UK Forum, but it is being infested with Enviroloonies and Gorite WeatherFascists. According to them, Florida was flooded , and is under 1 meter of water , back since 1999. Kerry Lookalike ted Danson said so, it must be true. Gore said the UK would be as hot as S Spain in 2010, so why worry about snow and floods?

Ah Man! it's you again ...the dude that thinks I'm a hippie. That's just so far out.

No I reckon we need to go further back than woodstock, back as far as before the age where we built houses on stilts because of the wet climate. Dredge the rivers to clear 'em and those areas that still flood use the money that the environs are wasting to pay off the residents then turn that land into reservoirs for the droughty summers
Global warming is a myth believed by the liberal television watchers who live their lives as spectators. "Climate change" or whatever the green nazis call it is a fraud to control the people and raise taxes and rates on energy supplies.
LOL. Are you calling the fossil fuel business the green nazis?

You are confused.
