Large rooftop installations of solar PV is becoming popular with corporate America, the tax rates are pretty much set, operating costs can only be managed to a point where the facility is not out side of the law. Where can they save money? Generate some or all of their power to run the facility.
The article shows an aerial view of e-bay head quarters. I also see acres of parking that could have shade structures covered with solar PV panels waiting to be constructed.
