Nope. Catchy phrase, misused for all sorts of political purposes.

Just a re-evaluation of coal and the cost of it's pollution, death toll, etc. A correction to include the 'hidden costs' that are now getting publicity.

Yes there is a war going on, and right now coal is nessasary for the country, or would you rather sit in your cold dark house at night rubbing sticks together.

Not here, plenty of NG and LPG to go around. Add solar, wind energy and you should be in a good position to sustain all the energy needed for your home to stay warm. What’s wrong with rubbing sticks?

The entire west coast is using increasing amounts of Wind Turbine power. Wyoming can, too.

Don't worry. Coal businesses have coal state legislatures, governors & even courts all tied up in coal-blackened bows.

Oh, great. Someone has discovered the 'false choice' logic error again.. like coal or nothing is the ONLY choice.. who uses coal for heating anyway??? Anyone out there stoking their coal fired boilers and worried about supply??

Electricity, oil and natural gas as the leading sources of home heating energy.

Anyone paying attention knows that Robert Murray is a psychotic IDI0T.

Obama has nothing to do with the declining coal industry, it's the "free" market. Fracked natural gas is cheaper, cleaner & easier to use.

Obama isn't smart enough to oppose coal like he should. Of course it might be fine if the coal industry could sequester CO2, prevent release of mercury into the environment (which eventually finds its way into the fish we eat), prevent the deaths of miners, prevent the horrendous damage to the environment from the various methods of mining it - & on & on.

Murray says he thinks AGW/CC is a "hoax" - which means he's psychotically deluded & unable to perceive reality. It's not exactly surprising that he blames Obama for something that's due ENTIRELY to fracked natural gas.

Ignorance is bliss, as the old saying goes.I was born & raised in a small coal town and filling a bucket of coal with your bare hands was typical for most of us,and quite a few times a day too.I had to fire a furnace at 12yrs old because my father died at 39yrs.old. Black sooted walls we had to paint every year. Steam engine trains coming through town constantly and we breathed this in constantly. It must be damned nice to have money, be ignorant as hell and put down the hard working folks. If you are a PHD I wouldn't let you treat my pet snake! You should be ashamed of yourself.
