They are NOT turning water into fuel. They are turning water + CO2 + energy into a carbon containing chemical fuel. I wish them luck but if the subject line is related to their science, I expect a big flop.
The issue isn't feasibility. They can heat water to get hydrogen + oxygen and then use the Fisher Troph process to produce gasoline. The issue is ALWAYS to do it CHEAP enough.

then will it be any good. We know that adding 10% to 15% ethanol(less?) to gasoline has screwed up gasoline burning, badly. Gonna be tough gettin' some r-t-ficial fu-el to burn in a gasoline engine with any efficiency.
