The major problem with the 'economic arguments' today is that there is no price on carbon and so investment is party an act of faith. We need a 'carbon surcharge' if we are to act in our own interest to moderate AGW and AGW induced costs. Until we fact up to that, green projects will be limited by opportunities where they can compete with the heavily subsidized and well established fossil fuel industries.
