Wind energy meeting set

A public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday night to discuss a proposed wind energy facility that would be located in Carteret County.

The last thing we need in Carteret County is Wind Turbines. They are dangerous, they cause many health issues, and would greatly interfere with our Radar Systems, not to mention our roads and highways would be destroyed with the transportation of their equipment. DOT has been advised, but probably won't act to require a bond or insurance to cover any damages if they're allowed. Please say prayers that they are not allowed. We're in a hurricane prone zone, not to mention what the salt air would do to their systems.
