WHY....That's too long! DUKE IS DRAGGING ITS FEET STILL!. Companies with a real sense of public responsibility are availing themselves of Nat gas to cut their carbon output in half ASAP.

I can't wait to see the looks on the faces of the tree huggers when their electric bills double. I figure that will really cut into their tofu budget. It's just a shame that the seniors will suffer the most.

If your so worried then STFU and get off of your electronic devices, driving its all creating your so called non existent problem you hypocrit.

Ahem! Hey dummy! Destroying much of our power grid and diminishing and consolidating the rest is just another United Nation's plan to weaken and destroy our economy, to create false flag incidents that allows more government controls over us, and easier to shut down YOUR power needs on a whim. If you also think like Barry Soetero that going nuclear only or green is the answer then you better do some serious reading and stop believing what ISU and local liberals are pushing. Like that thing called 'sustainable development.' You should also research some truth about latest facts about the melt down in Japan at the Fukashima plant that is affecting us here, or will.
The only place that you will hear the slightest truth about the coming problems with the power grid and why it is happening, and why Osuckybama is doing it is from non-mainstream news sites like "Infowars," Rense news talk radio, or Republic Broadcasting News channels.
But, talking to people in Terrible Haute or commie, Israeli, globalist run Indiana is like floating a lead balloon. You also will not get any truth, honesty, or facts from any loyalist locals to Obama, the NWO, Israel, or the cacophony of anti-Americans here, and that is in every office and media, and educational position in this damned town and state. Have fun with your "change" and New World Order thanks to Bush, Clintoons, and Obama and our governors like Daniels and Pence. None are righteous.

Are you a tree hugger?
Did you notice the weather has cooled down a bit?
Might I suggest that's maybe the reason why you're bill is lower.
Just wait till we get below zero temps this winter.

Odd ain't it that all these Obama (Barry Soetero) loyalist commies can't debate the subject but rather give out those goofy figures on judgement?
Obama said straight-up and very clearly, more than once, that he was going to see to it that electricity bills ... "would soar." And yet the idiots keep on supporting him like they do with him going to war. Also odd is how the Hollywood scum and others are awfully silent about that, his going to war again, or more, and intentionally ruining our power grid. Also his closing down of coal mines and etc. Pure anti-American communism, fascism, and etc, plus the mix of his holy Muslim idealism for us all.
Shit, our media and government is about totally silent on the real dangers and on-going leaks in Fukashima and it nuking the Pacific Ocean.
All one has to do is look at some real news on Youtube, and other non-mainstream state and corporate news channels like our own local scum who call themselves journalist and media. Sell out ugle scum liars.

OOPS! I did not realize there were some readers who seem to know only what traditional mainstream media says, because that is not much! Printed Media, and TV are all controlled by the Energy Industry and Others to write only about things beneficial to their advertising industries. If you do not believe me, please read energymaters.com (My blog), and see what you think. We make it a point TO UNMASK ALL THEIR HALF-TRUTHS, AND OUTRIGHT LIES, and to connect the points in their thinly veiled stories.
I am sorry to see so many readers who think that Name-calling is an art (specially on this forum); These, are not as clever as you may think, are almost certain to anger some readers, and are never conductive to intelligent discourse, or even understanding. Yes, I understand we all have closely held opinions, but please realize others have the same right to theirs.
Please reads my next blog article about Duke Energy (and other large Energy Merchants). That's right!, their quest is to produce it cheap, and sell it high to show a big profit. It is not their main purpose to gage long-term effect their Industry will have on the world's environment.
By the way, coal burning, and nuclear waste-making
is highest in the USA, than in ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, including China. There are some 110 Merchant Uranium Nuclear Power Plants in the USA; likewise our coal consumption is higher than any other country. Do you feel proud of the price to the world ecology for our industrial success? I do not! WE can do better! Just look at Germany.

Your wrong China uses more coal and Germany is a tiny country that is almost all Atomic powered.
Way to go you lie just like the big power company's.
