Is Solar Energy the Future for Your Home?
It's clean, sustainable, and getting more effective all the time, but how soon can we expect to see solar energy become a part of our everyday lives? Well, right now, of course! Yes, and incredibly so.

"Basically, what the figures boil down to is this: solar energy is here, and in some cases its affordable. Though few of us have the means to power our whole house by the sun, a solar hot water heater is now within the budgets of many families. Will we see lower prices on electricity derived from the sun in the future? The answer is a near unanimous yes. How should we prepare for that day? Probably doing what we do naturally: save money by making our homes as energy-efficient as they can be without solar power, and hope the day comes soon that whole house solar power becomes affordable for all."
Solar is a marathon, not a sprint. It will pay for itself and become part of the legacy of energy efficiency in one's home. The payoff for solar is getting shorter as more Utilities are going to tiered rate structures designed to promote "energy savings", yeah right. In some areas of the country, where tiered electric rates are in effect. Those who have installed Solar PV on their homes are paying for their systems in 5 to 7 years.

No doubt solar energy will be the best and long lasting source for our energy. As we all know the sun's core is full of hydrogen gases which are always in burning condition which in turn produces helium gas and lots of energy. This energy is then radiated out from the core and moves across the solar system. It is estimated that this hydrogen burning process/nuclear fusion of hydrogen into helium will continue more billions of year.So it will not ignorable that solar energy will be the future energy for our homes.

Sunlight is available in abundance across the earth's atmosphere and for free. It can be tapped in two forms namely - radiation and heat even during cloudy or windy weather.
Solar radiation can be converted into electricity through photovoltaic or solar cells. The energy produced from them can be stored or exported and solar heat can be used to heat water.
Solar energy production is noiseless and completely safe with no release of hazardous gases or chemical substances into the atmosphere. Brings down CO2 emission and boosts the greenhouse effect.
It is highly scalable, portable, modular and versatile. It can be produced anywhere during the day up to any amount, stored for different applications, and transported easily.
With the cost of photovoltaic system slashing over the years, solar energy production is getting cheaper day by day. Besides it is effective in cutting down energy bills and the government and energy suppliers are offering incentives.
Solar power systems are low on maintenance and last long. Typically, a unit installed once requires a simple low-cost yearly check up and is rest assured to work for up to 25 years or more.
