Droughts, melting ice caps and glaciers, rising sea levels and mass extinctions will all be a reality unless the U.S. and the world cut back on carbon emissions dramatically, said James Hansen, director of ...

LOL. It has been posting lies for years. Check it out for yourself.

Why is it another "denier" never corrects it?

P.S. Is it you who is obsessed with judging the other side? Unfairly, I add.

You would have point if everything that I claimed about him were not accurate. They are objectively accurate:

He's a pathological liar and a troll that repeats proven lies endlessly, never acknowledges refutations, and refuses to support his claims or retract them.

I would agree with that. It's true.

When he starts backing up his bullshit, maybe we'll back off. The problem is that he can't.

To know him is to dis him.

It seems that lyin brian had to abandon his denier training to spew his own personal vitriol after having been baited so much.

That "mitigation" thing gave him away.

In his fossil-funded professional denier class, lyin brian was taught to be totally subjective to his assigned theme, "no mitigation experiment" and to ignore the slings and arrows this stupid meme would bring. He does well for a time, until his ego cannot stand it any more and he has to get his personal licks in. That's when he becomes "ratdownthemuddle", a lying, steenking rooting and rotting racist pig denier and threatener.

That's when we really see that he has no science, and resorts to the ad hominem and insults that he condemns so readily when he's not in his alter-ego phase.

lyin brian/ratdownthemuddle is afraid he will lose his job soon, but he should have objected when his masters assigned him such a weak theme. No climate mitigation experiment! What a joke! Only an idiot would try to pass that one off.

Sure. Go north for four hours, turn left and go another four hours. You'll be there unless you want to go diagonally for ten hours.

You're welcome.

'snot natural!
Will Hobbs from the University of Tasmania, Australia, and Joshua Willis at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, have now checked if this warming is linked to humans.“Even accounting for all uncertainties and limitations, the temperature change could not be realistically explained by natural variability alone, implying a long-term human signal,” Will told me.

To bring this back to a useful discussion...
We should "act fast" to deploy Liquid Fluoride Thorium Recyclers that can provide carbon free electricity at prices cheaper than coal. This will be the quickest way to reduce CO2 emissions available.
Act rationally, not in haste.
Yes, when "stumble butt dumpster diver lyin' brian" acts irrationally AND in haste, he is a slimy steenking filthy vile reprobate rooting(& rotting) racist pukey proud pig AND alleged & proud threatener. Plus it makes errors of 1 million TIMES, 1000 TIMES, 3000 TIMES, 73 million TIMES & 2.5+ trillion TIMES. That's not progress.

i find it not so funny that the warmer's for the most part DON'T practice what they preach , most of you still use your own car ,truck , use electric from the grid , fire up your charcoal or gas grill , gas powered lawn mower even a few own you own aircraft or very large boat - ship , own one or more homes , some own cattle and have many offspring of your own . so if you truly believe in your cause then why don't you live what you preach and believe ? after all you lead by example . and no i don't want to hear from all of you that recycle cans or have a solar cell on your roof ect. if you believe and preach the doom and end of earth and mankind then YOU should give up your way of life to show others the way .

That report has so many variables and assumptions, they could have concluded anything. And I don't see any connection except process of elimination to correlate to either humans or CO2.(Certainly, the Sun or the major greenhouse gas, water vapor, couldn't have anything to do with it, right?)

But let's say this is the way it's going to be. This is the "fact" that governments want. We humans are to blame.(Even if this is all political ideology and junk science (which it is), if the government and the media are behind it, what does it matter anyhow?) Now what exactly is it that we must "act fast" on? Where exactly is this going? Stop driving? Stop using electricity? What? Are we going to demand that China "shut-down" LOL!? Or is the government just going to tax the hell out of everybody until they stop using energy?(But of course they would be excused.)

Debbie Wasserman Schultz of my district was in the paper and in the news saying South Florida will be under water in just a few short years if we don't act fast. What? Unless we do WHAT exactly? Unless we do what our homes will be under the Ocean's surface in a few short years? She even stated that her district (currently in South Florida/Miami) will be (in her life time mind you) will have to be relocated to Orlando in central Florida (because of course all of South Florida will be under water!

What causes a person to lose their mind like this and talk utter nonsense and lies? She was actually serious!(Of course, like Al Gore, is completely retarded when it comes to science.) But she is a US Congressman who happens to be the Democratic Chairperson and Obama and Pelosi's little minister of propaganda.

So again, just what is this going to mean for the average working person? Answers please?

A useful discussion fronting your agenda?
Somehow I sense some missing components that may be important to others ?
Perhaps you could partner with BG and prove the negative byproduct of your path would prove it less than wind ?
What part specifically do you need me to prove? Is it that wind mill manufacturing produces radioactive waste? If so, check out the source of niobium which is used in most windmill generators. Niobium is a rare earth element. REE ores, especially the ones containing niobium, almost always contain thorium. That thorium is radioactive. Making windmills makes RA waste.

Unlike solid fuel reactors, Liquid Fluoride Thorium Recyclers (LFTRs) burn up ~99.5% of their fuel load into fission products, the majority of which are stable within one year. So, 1GW worth of LFTR consumes ~0.8 tonnes os fuel per year and produces ~0.5 tonnes of RA FPs after said year. The RA FP are no longer dangerous after ~300 years because they either have fairly low half-lives and are stable by then, or they have very LONG half-lives and are not RA enough to be dangerous.

Ok?

OOPS, dear me, I wrote 99.5% when I meant 98.5%. But that 1.5% not burned can be made into Pu238 which NASA would dearly LOVE to get their hands on. So no waste there either.

That is why we must change our energy system. Our society is tied to cheap energy and growth industries. Many of us have cut way back on our energy uses but we still need cars to get to work and get our living supplies from the nearest shopping mall. Because of cheap energy and personal transportation it allowed for centralized shopping and large conglomerate businesses that folks can drive to. If things were decentralized where local communities could service their folks locally, we could do without all the fancy cars.

It is not a personal possibility but a complete change in the social order that is necessary. Only then can change occur. Government must take a role in establishing these things because as long as the economics of cheap fuel exists we will continue towards centralization.
