Maybe Mr Lomborg would drop HIS fantasy of being in charge of a trillion dollar industry to combat AGW with public money he controls.

I trust Mr. Obama a LOT more than a statistician that had to go political because he couldn't make it in the real world.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama

"Barack Hussein Obama II ) is the 44th and current President of the United States, the first African American to hold the office. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004."

After a SUCCESSFUL career as a lawyer, Obama then went on to gain a NATIONAL mandate as President of the USA over TWO terms, despite the collapse of the economy during the BUSH administration. To have that much faith in a leader during hard times takes more than a little work.

Now. What high office has Mr. Lomborg filled? His only real accomplishment was to be a denialist when they were searching desperately for anyone with ANY kind of degree to trash the science. Then he saw that he might make MORE easy money by tapping into AGW instead of fighting it.

The guy has NO credibility.

Anyone can write opinion about famous people in wikipedia. To say Obama was a successful lawyer leads to the question,"so where are his writings"? None to be had? Hmmm, then how do you know he was successful?

Wikipedia has the harshest 'peer review' of any publication. It has been shown to be as, or more accurate in it's articles than the Encyclopedia Brittanica.

He was a lawyer, not an author. Did you take your stupid pills today?

And the point stands. He has been successful in all his endeavours, while Lomborg has done NOTHING useful to date.

Actually, others have written and talked about his law might and put him at the top. Won't you research a little?

Do you also remember that neither W nor Cheney had law degrees or practice? Yet W with a business background managed to destroy our economy.

Funny, I think the same way about Obama Care and his total failure at getting the economy restarted.

It wasn't till the Repos finally stood their ground that things started looking up.

But successful lawyers are authors first. Lawyers write constantly.

True.

But it is obvious that this is not the right thread for lawyers. Are you one?

He may have been too busy to have any 'hobbies', unlike some lawyers who are underemployed.

Facts are that he was successful in MANY opportunities while developing his career objectives. He was a leader wherever he went with a strong commitment to the community he served.

Lomborg basically sold out to the denialists to get a political appointment (no elections for him) then betrayed his backers to try to make money on the public dole. His failure speaks for itself. ANY idiot (like Lomborg) can make a rant public on the internet. Real success takes a bit more.
