"Hamas Victory" for retarded Islamists such as Ahmadinejad means, losing your life , destruction of your city and live in a smaller prison called Gaza , gaurded by Israelis.

Iran should cooperate and make ties with China and Russia. Especially with China.

Only Iran could herald the recent Gaza clash as a Hamas victory with a straight face. Israel used great restraint in its air war and could at anytime turn Gaza into a rubble strewn parking lot if it chose. Note that the Israelis lost no aircraft to Hamas fire during the entire operation. Hamas’ large missile arsenal proved largely ineffective due to the Israelis’ Iron Dome ADA system. The Israelis’ strategy of using Iron Dome to protect its home front while pounding the enemy’s missile arsenal from the air proved successful. Hezbollah will receive the same treatment if it gets out of line in the future.

Tehran - Iran's President Mahmud Ahmadinejad has congratulated Gaza's Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniya in a telephone call on a "great victory" over Israel, the two sides said on Saturday.

Haniya in turn "thanked Iran for its support", they added, days after Tehran confirmed it had supplied military aid to Gaza.

"The Iranian president congratulated the people of Gaza and the (Palestinian) resistance facing Zionist aggression ... on their great victory," Iran's news agency ISNA reported.
