North Texas students back in school, getting ready for STAAR retests
Results from some local school districts for the five end-of-course tests administered in the spring, mostly to ninth-graders, the first class that must pass the exams to graduate.

STAAR is a stupid idea that will make Texas look like a state full of dumb students! If you want students to pass this test, one mock test isn't going to help. Some teachers don't even go ever the material that is on the test! If I was in charge, I'd completely eliminate STAAR and make a test not only for the state but that will benefit every student! Better yet, I'm going to do something about this!
