Soon we will find out if the "mighty" Eagles will pass AYP.

Reasons for passing AYP:

-Recruited the best students (99%) 1% screwup
-There are no cripples and mental handicaps going to the school. So, no disadvantaged group that would lower the test scores....
-Teachers teach to the test....

The incoming students each year of poor quality. It is only a matter of time before the mighty Eagles are no more. Send your students to Kirtland.

For all of you people out there making comments, it is easy to hide behind the veil of secrecy called the Internet. I would would like to know who you are and in what way you feel you are empowered to make the comments posted. Have you been on campus in the evening as suggested. I too have seen the lack of structure and activity of the kids. It may be easy to say "Let the past be the past. AYP is current. The suicides are not....", when you are not the one who has lost a child at NP. I was involved in identifying a stalker who somehow got information on my late daughter and the man actually had the gall to contact her at the dorm via phone. To make the story short, Detective Mondragon and myself collaborated to identify the person who was actually arrested, and admitted he was attempting to lure kids via money. My late daughter came home one weekend and asked if we had any relatives in Farmington. The person had identified himself as "Grandfather". I initially reported the situation to Betty O'Jaye and other school officials who made NO effort to investigate. I had to go to the Farmington Police Department and file a report myself. I believe the files are public record if you want to question my statements. No new policy for phones and visitors was ever implemented. So I say to you "Real Story",....."Real Wrong Story". And for all you other maskers making unjustified comments, until you have been in my shoes should you reconsider your reactions and comments posted.
I am not sure how I came across this, but i went to school with your lovely daughter, and oddly enough i had a similar situation with a stalker. A gentlemen wrote to me from a prison and when i reported it to the school, NOTHING was done about it! Needless to say, as a student, I seen many holes in their system that i never realized back then. Hopefully, those holes have been patched! I am deeply sorry about the situation. It has almost been 6 years and I still have not forgotten about what a great person she was in and out.
