All leaders at PHS have issues. Oh yes, starting with Acosta and Lovett. All they talk about is the "wonderful changes they are planning to create." However all they know how to create are babies!!
Piratluvs did you see last night when Delgado walked in late? Delgado keeps on kissing Acosta's ass. He thinks that by showing up we are going to change as a school. Contrary to what is held in view by many, the principal does not make ineffective teachers but rightfully identifies them. Therefore stop bothering us the ones who are doing their job.

I agree with you 100 percent, but there's a couple of things I would like to point out. First off, Mel's last name is ALBISO, not Obiso. Secondly, this jackass (Albiso) is also a school board member on the Colton Joint USD's board. He is up for election in November. VOTERS OF COLTON: Don't make the same mistake twice. Don't vote for Mel Albiso this November. Now if only the SB School Board can fire him like they should, then things would really improve.
we would like to hear more about this
a group of people are getting together to seriously oppose Albiso in the upcoming election
we need more info will you share what you know about Albiso

Remember Mel tried to change the name of Grant Elementary School in Colton to Garcia Elementary after his Aunt?(picked because of US Grant's victory over Mexico, to put America in its place) No one knew this was to be voted on; it was a surprise. Especially to those parents who raised monies for concrete benches and a mural with Grant Elementary on them. He had to back off, but then popped up again with trying to force Grand Terrace to name their new High School Roy Abril, after another Hispanic. Also, you should investigate how he feels about those who have to use handicapped parking. Is he for Colton or for himself?

I'm not sure if this continues, but its a shame that no one on the school board ever listened. To increase the graduation rate, they let kids make up 2 years (120 credits) in one semester in A+. Its a joke. One girl passed a class in 2 hours. But it makes Tex look good. Please open your eyes - my kid no longer goes there!

It was a great graduation! PHS should be proud! 410 graduates out of a class of 325. Hmmmmmmmmmm. It was nice though. The confetti at the end was great. I went to Berdo, but it was nice! Not sure about the grads that had to promise they would make up the units in summer, as my friend did, but it was nice.

Can't understand how all this is condoned by the school board and I hate to see it. It wasn't going on back in "the good ole days" before the school closed. Pacific was a great school!
