College price hikes more modest but still painful

There are 6 comments on the Star-Telegram.com story from Oct 23, 2012, titled College price hikes more modest but still painful. In it, Star-Telegram.com reports that:

The sticker price of in-state tuition at four-year public universities climbed about $400 this fall, an increase of nearly 5 percent that brought the average to $8,655. That's a modest increase compared to recent years but still painful for families with stagnant incomes after a prolonged economic slump.

College is one of the biggest ripoffs going. The price is driven up by government money. This will be the next economic bubble to blow up.
