All-Female College Returns Transgender Woman's Application

Calliope Wong, a high school senior from Connecticut, has twice sent an application to the prestigious all-female Smith College, but her papers have been returned without even an official admission review.

I think Calliope Wong did the right thing moving on to another school, life is to short to worry about things you can't change. While I respect her desire to attend Smith College in order to attend an ALL female school one must first be ALL female and as long as one still has the genitalia of a male one is not ALL female even though they may live life "AS" one.
