I say that we just go ahead and make English a second language, because China is buying up the East and West Coastal Lands of America as we speak. When China comes to reclaim the American Debt they won't have to invade, because they'll already own the Ports. The Chinese are actually buying up America with the weakened Dollars the Obama Administration is printing as fast as they can, with nothing of Monatary Value to back them up! The Chinese are offloading U.S. Dollars by legally purchasing American Properties.

The Catch 22 of this situation is that the Chinese will soon own all the coastal lands and United States still owe them the debt.

FACT: Someone needs to inform President Obama that when you print Dollars with nothing of value to substantially to back it up, the Dollars actually loose their values proportunately!

Have any of you even read the article? It's not about making English secondary for everyone. It's about teaching English to Non-English speakers. This is a good thing.

Well said. Teaching English as a second language was one of the most important functions of the public schools 100 years ago. It played a big role in making Americans of all the immigrants who arrived in the big wave of new arrivals from the end of the Civil War until 1920.
