The wide-ranging spending bill that passed the House and now awaits Senate action is a milestone in the transfer of power in Washington: While attracting little public attention, it is both the last budget measure of the Bush administration and the first of Barack Obama's presidency.

So far a president Barack Obama has been a very big disappointment. When it comes to real leadership and judgement, Barack Obama falls short on almost any scale. While more and more American families are getting unemployed and can't afford to send their kids to college this fall, the Obamas live and dine in luxury. What has Barack Obama done to help our unemployed neighbors, friends, sons and daughters? What has he done to help the graduating high school seniors find jobs and attend the college of their choice? Nothing. All we got from Barack Obama is talk, and more talk from a teleprompter.

Barack Obama spoke of changes and miracles when he becomes president. We got nothing that is remotely close to the changes and miracles he promised. As president, Barack Obama borrows Bush's old idea for another stimulus package and hails it as his triumph. This is ironic and sad. It shows how void of ideas this man really is. America has better leaderships than what Barack Obama has managed to give and we deserve better. We need to find the right people and put them in office. Barack Obama already looks tired. He not only lacks leadership, he lacks visions as well. We've elected a man that can't think for himself and can't speak for himself. It looks like Barack Obama is president on paper only. He is still that junior US Senator from Illinois, not yet a true US President. Acting or pretending to look presidential is easier than being president, and Barack Obama has been failing America in her hour of need since January 20. This man is not even close to the idea of a great man the newspapers have been inventing. This is becoming an American version of a Shakespeare comedy. Barack Obama can do himself and America a real favor by living up to his own hype.

What is sickening is that people will accept failure from Barack Obama. America deserves nothing less than real leadership, real visions, real ideas from their president. Barack Obama is a former U.S. Senator from Illiois, but people have been making grand illusions about him that are almost insane. Lies on top of lies, and more lies about a miracle worker, a man of destiny. Please, stop this nonsense and childishness.
