why? do they "share" a salary? is it because good ole boys of dexter couldn't dare put a woman in that position alone?

I do not think much of flowers or matthews for that matter. flowers made some very rude comments to my son when he was in middle school. when asked about it, she back peddled and denied saying it. she thought she was pretty sharp stuff and I am glad she is out of my way. flowers and matthews are not kid friendly. glad they've moved but wish it would have been because they had been let go. i think we can do better. matthews does not have any common sense.
acctually mr Matthews is very kid friendly. We all love him. He is a caring man who has always been there for the Dexter students. He knows when to be stern and when to let us be kids. He's always done an amazing job as principal while I've been in Dexter high school.

I'm sure Mr. Matthews lays awake at night worried about your opinion of him. With 500 something students to worry about he's bound to tick some people off.

Why is this stuff on Topix? This news is almost 3 years old and no longer applies. This article was written in 2010!!! Matthews doesn't even work in administration and Flowers is retiring at the end of the year!
Thanks for clarifying that to some outdated parents lol!
