I don't know if I would want children transported that much farther and put at more risk just to save some money ....and some have to get onto buses pretty early already ....and what would become of the unused buildings would we still be paying for them....

It hard for us to decide on theses issues when all there is yes or no on the ballot. Ever visit a school or town board meeting, you only see stuff the chairmens want and agree with . Notice how they've already spent $30,000 with out our approval. What happens to that if they don't merge. So much time and money has gone into this merger talk it is rediculous. This has the potential to save the tax payers much needed money. Do we really need to be paying three teachers when it could be done by the work of one or two. That would be a $30k-$70k saving for each subjuct at each grade level. That is enough to pay the monthly bills, extra transportation, and maybe even enough to give teachers a raise for taking on bigger classes. The best part is the merger will still leave us with small class size. Right now the districts have extramly small classes and it really does waste a lot of money. Think about it we are paying millions of dollars a year so a school can graduate twenty people. It seems everyone is failing to see our socailist government crumble.

I think the natural assumption here would be that a new school would be built, one that is in a more central location, if that is the case, it is going to cost the taxpayers a tremendous amount of money. Add to that, the added expense for busing the kids, it could end up costing more in the long run than it is worth.

i think that a simple tighting of the belt is all that is in order we need to ask ourselfs do our schools need to furnished the way they are the answer is no u dont need 5 pcs in every room or a huge monitor teach these kids some real economics that they may find useful in there lives heres a basic lesson to start with if u make 2000 dollars a month never spend beyond your income level dont use credit dont barrow just spend less it can be done if you make 2000 spend 1800 save the other 200 dollars ive lived my whole life this way and ive never made lot of money but ive paid for 2 homes and raised a family believe me it can be done
