Way to go Lauren. That is so awesome. I am a mother of a WHS child in North Carolina. This story touched my heart. That is so amazing for the students at Orange County High School to do such a sweet thing. I would have been crying my eyes out. We live in a crazy world today and we need to hear more about teens doing things like this. There are still good people doing great things out there. WAY TO GO!!!!!!!

Wow, it seems like the only one that said anything about her having a disability was her mother. She seemed to point and say that this is pretty much going to be her biggest achievement and that she is pretty much stupid and doesn't grasp any sort of reality. Granted that is one of the effects of the disease but do you have to point it out, it just makes it seem embarassing.
