...and they all froze their rear-ends off. HA HA HA!

Couldn't happen to a better bunch of dolts.

Anthropomorphic climate change is a lie promulgated by power hungry Leftists who are more interested in amassing political power than they are about "saving the earth."

They want to form a political and economic monopoly on all sources of energy production by legislating out of existence all carbon-based means of production and replacing them with non-functioning methods which they and their cohorts already control.

I hope they catch pneumonia in the frigid wind.

These geniuses travel all the way to D.C. to complain about an oil pipeline, when there is coal dust falling on their head before leaving Charlottesville. What "bright" students we have in our little town.....NOT!!
Is there any way to rid this town of 100,000 liberals?

What an entertaining group. How about throwing in some anti gun rights signs for solidarity, some meat is murder signs for peta, some government conspiracy slogans, a few war on women signs and some gays wearing flamboyant outfits!
On a serious note.. how much fuel did those buses use?

United States has made great strides in the last 30 years for cleaner energy. Time for rest of the world to catch up. Please don't put it all on the American middle class, again.

The population of Charlottesville is roughly 44K, and the largest economic engine of Charlottesville is UVA; so no, not without completely destroying the local economy.

I wonder how much "global warming" those busess wasted on this execise in futility.

Every drop of oil will be pulled out of the ground and burned. We cannot stop the third world from industializing.

Get over it and deal with it. Don't buy a house on the beach and accept the fact that we are going to have interacil relation ships betwen polar bears and brown bears as they share all the NEW growth in canada that will result form the much welcomes milder temperatures.

The cold kills more than the heat. You don;t see bacteria going beserk in a canadian forest like you do the amazon.

Global warming will save lives and all we need to do is adapt.

If you think china is going to stop buying oil to use in their tanks you are sadly mistaken.

How much electricity did they burn charging their ipads, iphones, ipods, laptops? How much electricity was used on styling brushes, combs, and manufacturing all the hair gel, mousse and makeup so they would look good for the cameras? How many trees were felled so they could enjoy their carmel machiatto latte extra shot in a paper cup? And the real question of the day...did they pick up their trash after the rally was over and dispose of it properly? or did they expect the taxpayer to foot the bill for it? Walk through any of our public schools, colleges or universities at the end of the day. You will see nothing but trash on the floor. And this is the generation which will be responsible for caring for our planet? Lord, help us.

Eventually, even China will have to deal with it:

http://www.project-syndicate.org/commentary/t...

FROM THE ARTICLE:

The IPCC report did indeed state that global warming would mean more extreme warm temperatures, but it also pointed to fewer extreme cold temperatures. Because more people almost everywhere on the planet die each year from cold temperatures than from warm temperatures, the overall impact of global warming will be fewer deaths from temperature extremes. Indeed, according to one estimate, by mid-century, about 400,000 more people will die from heat than would have perished at current temperatures, but 1.8 million fewer people will die from cold. Unfortunately, non-deaths are a non-story.

well according to "one" (uncited) estimate passed onto us by the professor, the Pentagon is clearly wrong

I wonder why these liberals did not walk 110 miles to DC instead of riding on a bus. I would bet they rode another bus 110 miles to get back to The Peoples Republic of Charlottesville instead of simply walking back. They love global warming and they despise anyone who does not love it as much as they do.

Get over yourseleves already! Quit whining about global warming when there are more scientists that disprove the theory than prove it. Curtailing Co2 emmissions are futile. The oceansdisolve and trees and all green plants use Co2 and emit O2 as the result of transpiration. We are already seeing higher costs of good and services being passed onto consumers because of lowering emissions. The world just emerged from a small ice age in the 19th century. The climate is always changing from warm to cool and back again.

Can you cite your claims?

97% believe in it, and knowing several scientists, they rely heavily on peer reviewed studies.
