I can't afford one but our schools can?

Oh yeah, what a great idea!! And taxpayers in WI, must be excited as well. Think how much easier it now will be for the kids to txt each other the entire time in class, whitout dear of being noticed. Think some school "expert" could block them from messaging?? hahaha. Even my 10 year old son can hotwire a truck by now and you bet an eight grader can get around any smart controls done by some out-of-touch adult, just as easily as they can bypass porn filters today.
On the other hand, I am sure all that extra socialization will really stremline educational experiences. I remember back in the days in high school as senior when I was trying to hit it up with two chicks two desks down the aisle. I had a little bet going on with my best friend and I had a deadline so I was getting desperate. The small pieces of paper sent forward and backward got clammier and steamier and steamier until the teacher saw someone send it to the girls and that was a when&where message from me. It took me 4 months to get over that embarrassment and the girls didn't speak to me again until I met them on a spring break in Panam City two years later (more about that another day). I also lost the bet and was not able to have it accepted retroactivally later on.
Bottom line, if I had an Iphone at that time, I would probably still be smiling over what I achieved before the prom, during a <nother> boring class of social science. Thinking about it, if we still lived in WI, I would be all for it. Now, on the other hand, one can always buy it for the kids oneself and since the world is what it is, the cute girls tends to have parents with SOME $$ as well, so that would be pre-screening process. Maybe that's why they do this in WI??!! TO pre-empt peer pressure??
Because know one thing: The peer pressure to score will be WAAAY stronger once the Iphone emerges. That, in itself could be a good thing, since school is as boring as it is anyways. Now, add that in with the newest tools in the adult industry and that Iphone set on vibration will REALLY make the classroom a place to enjoy again...
Once we got the Iphone into the class-room, school will never be the same. IPhones linked to keyboard activation and small remoter controls (pens) will also come soon.
<To be continued>..

The fact that your "ten year old son can hotwire a truck" speaks volumes about you!

If you can change oil on your car, you can hotwire it too and it takes no time to teach a kiddo that also.
Otherwise, I am in support of the Iphones. Especially if they got internet on them (small problem to install anyways), so the kids can learn something.
