I probably would not send my kid unless some safety measures were implemented to make sure the kids are safe.

This just so happen to be in her class! I was told, the teacher that was around this kid, was told three times now, by three different students, that the child had a gun and he said it was loaded!!! Still no names of parents or kids here on topix. So the shit prolly was a hoax. Some one has to know who was involved. A parent, a kid, someone and no ones sayin so this is a bunch a bullshit just to get stuff started in C-Ville. A small that wants to be on the map or something.

no we don't need security in school . if you do were will it stop,?
what need to be done is lock up firearms so a kid can't give their hand on then .

One would think the security should start at home. Such as parents locking their weapons in a safe or cabinet. Everyone is looking to the school for answers and they should be asking the child's parents how this happened.

Which is worse, a kid bringing a gun to school to show his friend safely getting back home, or a kid bringing a claw hammer to school and pounding another kid in the head?

You are blaming the teacher? What is wrong with you? The teacher done their job very well. You were not there, it sounds like you have a personal problem with schools in general. Could it be that the school has made you mad in some way? Because you're not making any sense at all. You act like you were there everyday all day and know everything about this school, the teacher, the student etc.. i personally don't think you know anything more than what some slow learning child of yours has made up in their their small mind, because you trained your child to make things up, didn't you? And your parent done the same to you, didn't they. You get off on drama, its sick really. They have places for people like you.

Why do people judge so quickly? Does anyone every think that maybe these kids made a huge mistake, but that does not mean that they need to be put on display for drama people to make more of the situation than what is needed. They are 9 years old, you don't need to know their name. What difference would it make. There parents could be just as upset as others. They maybe should be ashamed for not having their guns locked up out of a kids reach. But why point the finger at the school, and teachers? Just be glad that no on was hurt and most of all that it wasn't your son or daughter that took a weapon to school. Put your stones back in your drive way and save them for a day when you do something that you should not have, may they be a reminder that we all make mistakes. If some of you knew things that your kids have done you'd probably embarrassed as well.
