Byron Manning breaks the law again. This guy would beat up his own grandmother for a buck.

Funny that he claims the union wants a contract that other districts would envy, when he makes more than any other district's financial director and is the second highest paid employee in CCSD (afer Bill Noland). And what are his qualifications? A lifetime of failure, bankruptcy, and pyramid schemes up until brother Randy got him this cushy job bleeding CCSD dry. And when the district finally goes bankrupt, too? Then he'll run off leaving our children and the community holding the bag, just like Renn Farnsworth.

It's coming soon, and it may even be too late.

On Feb. 3, Vote COSSUM & BENALLY--they will call for an outside audit.

Why is Byron Manning breaking the law again? Arrogance, arrogance, arrogance. But arrogance and stupidity are deadly combination. It will be interesting to see if the arbitrator buys his argument, especially after this last little stint. The teachers wanted to be treated like other teachers in the state? How dare are they? CCSD has this nice little corner of the state where labor laws don't count, where suprevisors can intimdate employees with impunity, and where employees are expected to work 24/7. And these people dare to fight for change? What a nerve.

Wow!! That guy is a district spokesman? The district allows this type of information to be published before a decision is even rendered? He criticizes teachers for creating a model agreement? I pity your leaders for letting this guy hold the purse strings and publishing claims of victory. Why bother with a superintendent or board of education when you have this guy calling the shots.

He has bragged in public that he is the "REAL" superintendent of CCSD.

Why does Noland "allow" this man to lie, run the district into the ground? Does Noland realize that Byron's illegal actions reflect upon his reputation? Do your job Noland, get rid of this tool and if you do have what it takes to to this, get CONTROL of him and put him in a corner somewhere. He is killing you.....

look at all the issues on the rez. take a birds eye view of the matter. there is chaos in ccsd. the three navajo brd members did not improve things.. went from bad to worst. the teachers need support. support the teachers union... this organization keeps all trouble makers in control: the ccsd board and the navajo nation officals hiding in the dark, shirley, leonard anthoney and chili. keep the navajo nation out and support those teachers who have a direct link to our loved ones: our children. the politics is goin to stunt the growth of our children's achievement .

Bill Noland is not the problem. The problem is Randy Manning running roughshod over the rest of the school board. My guess is that Bill Noland if backed by the majority of board would have "BM" gone within 24 hours.
Citizens of Kirtland, only who can make change happen. Lets all who live in District 1 and 4 turn out in massive numbers on the third of Feb to make the necessary positive changes in the school district.
Vote Bernice Benally,District 4 and Fred Cossum, District 1

You're the one that it's in the dark, "uncle" tom. First of all, Chili is no longer in office. He has no authority. Leonard Anthony, Joe Shirley, and other Navajo Mation elected officials have no influence at all over CCSD.

There is a Memorandum of Agreement between CCSD and the Navajo Nation, that when signed, would define and limit the relationships between CCSD and the Navajos. However, Janet Slowman-Chee, another Manning suck-up puppet, has dragged out action on that one for TWO years, under Byron & Randy's orders.

What else did you get wrong? Well, there are FOUR Navajos on the CCSD School Board: Hoskie Benally, Elayne Lowe, Dorothy Redhouse, AND ROZANA LOPEZ. But Lopez and Redhouse were selfish and weak, and the Mannings got control of them pretty easily. What do you expect? Just like John McCain was raised in a military family and trained from birth to honor and defend his country, the Mannings were raised in a Trading Post family, and were taught from birth to exploit and manipulate Navajos. Joel Foutz is another one. If you think that the Bible and the Book of Mormon teach us that it is right to treat our Lamanite neighbors like a cash crop that we can exploit and harvest, instead of human beings with a right to speak for themselves, then I guess you should vote for Manning & Foutz. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, would not agree with you though.

And the NEA? Troublemakers? The Mannings ran off 90% of the teachers who stood up to their bullying years ago. Don't knock the teachers' union just because they are brave enough to stand up to the Mannings' strong-arm union-busting tactics and their shyster bimbo lawyer from ABQ.

Maybe you wish you were brave enough to stand up to the Mannings yourself, Uncle Tom, instead of SUCKING UP to them and kissing their behinds.

Too bad you're out there in AZ. If you were here in the Kirtland Area, you would be a little more up to speed and you might know what you are talking about. If you were talking to people here, you would know that Randy Manning's days are over at last. He couldn't win this election even if the only people allowed to vote were members of the LDS 3rd Ward. Even there, he has treated too many people poorly. They are also getting tired of covering up for his closet homosexuality. If he gets 100 votes this time, he will be lucky.

Now is the time to get rid of the Manning Mafia! Can you believe that the "district spokesperson" is the financial director? With no education in public education, he has deemed himself king of CCSD. Where are all the administrators when Byron is spewing his tales of royalty all over the internet and on the CCSD email and website? He should be fired NOW for breaking the rules of arbitration. There has been no ruling, therefore, no one is legally allowed to talk until it is all over. It's not over until the fat lady (or the HR department of CCSD)sings.

The fat lady in the HR department has become the Mannings'#1 enforcer. Byron likes fat blondes, and she is single now...maybe there is something going on there.

Grandma moses, whoever you are, you're my hero.

But I've got to correct you here: Frazzini is not Randy's type. He prefers partners to be in their 20's and to have at least one Y chromosome.

Byron on the other hand, already has a reputation for making sexual advances to female CCSD employees. And he is known for liking them to have a little meat on their bones. True, Frazzini is kind of like the entire buffet at Golden Corral. Maybe we'll get lucky and she'll smother Byron to death in a bizarre motorboating accident...

Goodness, I hardly know where to begin. I read this article today and was flabbergasted at the hubris of Byron Manning to think he could declare the negotiations process "complete" when the arbitrator hasn't even rendered a decision. Gee, I didn't realize that Byron was a higher authority. Had to laugh at his assertion that his motivation for posting confidential information on the district's website was to promote "transparency." This from the man who speaks with forked tongue.

Nancy Frazzini is probably one of the most professional administrators you'll ever find - shame on those of you who are posting ugly comments about her.

The negotiations are complete. Now it's up to the arbitrator to render his/her decision.

I, too, was frustrated that Byron Manning would have objections to a "model" contract. Why shouldn't teachers at CCSD want a model contract? Why wouldn't the board want to offer a model contract? However, after reading the two "last final offers",(which are posted on the district's website) I can understand why both parties couldn't come to an agreement. I'm afraid there are too many items in the CCEA proposal that will never be a part of the final contract. I hope that the arbitrator sides with the CCEA, but I'm afraid that will never happen.

FYI - Bill Noland can't hire and fire anyone. That is the board's responsibility. He can recommend action to the board, but he has no authority to hire or fire. Not that the district wouldn't be better off without Byron Manning ...

Your final comment clearly reveals how little you know about CCSD--or any NM public school district, and discredits all the rest of your argument:

Bill Noland CAN hire and fire anyone. The CCSD Board can ONLY hire and fire the Bill Noland (or whoever the current superintendent may be at the time). You've got it completely backwards.

As for Frazzini, she is a vicious, lying, teacher-hating SNAKE who lives to do Byron Manning's dirty work. And like BM, she has ABSOLUTELY NO EDUCATIONAL TRAINING. She has NEVER taught, NEVER been in the classroom.

And she is fat. That's a fact, too, unless you're blind. Or unless you're Nancy Frazzini, which is entirely possible. In which case, let me offer you some advice: it's not the weight that spoils your looks. It's the hair--that and the phony smile that never reaches your eyes. You look like a shark in a cheap wig.

here are some other state contracts that ANYONE can LEGALLY look at... Maybe Byron should have before he opened his mouth....

SANTA FE...

There are of course MANY others, but you will get the picture of HOW DIFFERENT these are from CCSD's contract.

And about wanting a "model" first contract? Jeez, I want to start buying cars soon if my FIRST car should be a MODEL-T! LOL!

Remember, if Byron's mouth is open, he's lying. It's that simple!

Why would any teacher in CCSD need union protection or a fair agreement as the ones functioning throughout the state is beyond my imagination. As long as we have Byron Manning, and the group of little dictators as principals dispensing the law and justice we should all be happy. If it wasn't for this darn union CCSD would remain a blissfull little land where teachers cheerfully ask: how high?, when ordered to jump. And the ones who weren't cheerfull enough are long gone. Thank God for that union and people who put their jobs on the line, and spend endless hours trying to make our lives better. Thank you guys and don't give up. If we don't win this time there is always next year.
